A church is not a building of four walls;
   A church is not the doors or the steeple;
A church is not the pulpit or the halls;
   No, a church is made-up by its people.
A church is not the choir or the preacher,
   Though they help to form a firm foundation;
A church is not the Sunday school teacher;
   A church is the entire congregation.
Now, don’t you think it’s just a little odd
   That when we think of church we see a place?
We say the building is the ‘House of God,’
   But do you really think that is the case?

      To you, this thought, then, I wish to impart---
      The ‘House of God’ should be inside your heart!
